Stacie's Art Lessons: Mini Masters Eight Week Course

In the Mini Masters Course, students will learn various art principles and techniques through the study of master artists throughout history. Through exposure to a broad range of artists and their styles, children will be able experience that there are many ways to make art. Each artist and corresponding project will teach the children art principles and ideas like warm and cool colors, multiple points of view, pattern and texture, and much more. Students will also use multiple types of media such as collage, watercolor, oil pastels, tempera paints and gain understanding in technique. And most importantly, we'll have fun creating artwork of our own using these artists as inspiration. That's the operative word....FUN. Ultimately my biggest goal is to foster creativity and have the kids leave inspired to do more art!

Mini Masters 8 week course takes place once a week on Wednesday for 75 minutes from September 30th to November 18th.
*Class is limited to 5 students
Mini Masters Course A: Wednesday 4:00-5:15 pm for students ages 6-10
Mini Masters Course B: Wednesday 5:30-6:45 pm for students ages 11-15

The cost of the Mini Masters course is $95 and includes a set of quality watercolors and oil pastels that the student will keep at the conclusion of the course. All materials needed for projects are provided by me. A $40 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your child's place in class with the remaining $55 due on the first day of class.
